RISD Bookstore
Assigned to develop a sub-brand for the RISD Library bookstore, I focused on accessibility and the enduring appeal of physical books in the digital age. My approach considered how audiences are increasingly drawn to self-development and the idea of “writing their own narrative” in a post-pandemic world.
Typography was used as a visual device to engage viewers directly, with phrases like “How does it end?” and “Rewrite the narrative” prompting reflection and interaction. The design explored themes of escapism and personal storytelling, creating a bookstore identity that invites audiences to engage thoughtfully with the act of reading while connecting with the library as a space for curiosity and exploration.
